The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame (GVSHoF) has announced it has a new Platinum Sponsor – VIMCA (Vancouver Island Mechanical Contractors Association). VIMCA is an association of unionized mechanical contractors on Vancouver Island.

The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame is accepting inductee nominations for 2019. There are four categories for induction – Athletes & Teams, Coaches & Officials, Builders and Media. Nominations will be accepted until February 28, 2019.

The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame and the University of Victoria are proud to announce that first-year Vikes men's rugby player Lachlan "Lockie" Kratz is the 2019 recipient of the Bate Family Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame Award.
