Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame

2006 Inductees

The Board of Directors recently announced the 2006 inductees to the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame. The inductees will be inducted at the forthcoming dinner and ceremony to be held in the Princess Mary Restaurant on November 4 at 6:30 pm.

The inductees to be honoured are:

Joe Bayley: Athlete (Boxing), Joe Bryant: All Round Builder, Kim deMacedo: Athlete (Water Skiing), Lawrie Kerr: Builder & Athlete (Golf), Reg Midgley: Builder (Auto Racing), Marjorie Naysmith: Builder (Swimming), Cliff Salmond: Athlete (Middle Distance Runner), Wilf Cain, Gar Taylor, Wilf Sadler: Builders (Baseball) Jim Taylor: Media Sports Award

Tickets for the dinner and awards ceremony are $40 and can be obtained from Pat Hall at 389 0223.
