The GVSHOF is a registered not for profit organization and we self generate all funds required for our displays and activities. Donations receive a tax receipt.

The mission of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame is to recognize and celebrate the outstanding performances and contributions of athletes, builders, officials and teams from Greater Victoria who have brought distinction to themselves, their sport, community and country.

 We also encourage the youth of our community to engage in sports and recreational  activities in pursuit of a healthy lifestyle through the Island Savings Family Sport & Recreation Festival held at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence. Finally, we have established the Bate Family / GVSHOF VIKES Award at the University of Victoria. Donations to this fund support a deserving student athlete in the VIKES program.

Our displays may be seen on the concourse level of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Center through Gate Three.
