Victoria has produced many great names in sports, from the Patricks in hockey, to the Pedens of cycling, to Norm Baker of basketball and Audrey Kieran of swimming. It is the fine heritage of sports heroes that inspired the creation of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame. The mission of the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of
Fame is to recognize and celebrate the outstanding performances and
contributions of athletes, builders, officials and teams from Greater
Victoria who have brought distinction to themselves, their sport, community
and country.
